Radostina Dukovska M.D. - Surgeon

Dr. Radostina Dukovska is an abdominal surgeon with over 14 years of experience, gained in several hospitals in Germany.

She graduated in Medicine in 2009 from the Medical University of Sofia and briefly worked at the Clinic of Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Surgery at the Military Medical Academy in Sofia. In 2012, she continued her specialization at a clinic in Germany, and in 2016, she received an invitation to join one of the leading hospitals in North Rhine-Westphalia. There, in 2020, she obtained her specialty in General Surgery and became Head of the Bariatric Surgery Department. She further advanced her qualifications, earning a specialty in Visceral Surgery in 2024, and six months later in Specialized Visceral Surgery. In 2022, she also obtained a specialty in Nutritional Medicine.

Dr. Dukovska has interests in bariatric and laparoscopic surgery and is certified as a console surgeon in Da Vinci robotic surgery.

Since the beginning of November, Dr. Dukovska has been part of the Surgery Department at VITA Hospital.
